Job Description:
The Community Counselor creates a safe environment for patients,
saves lives when necessary, provides hope, empowers patients, and
teaches new tools for coping. The Community Counselor provides
direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and
therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, individual/family
education groups and activities of daily living relative to
patient’s health and safety.
